Discovering the most talented students of Russian arts institutes and colleges, as well as drawing attention to palliative care in Russia and the importance of pain relief for seriously ill patients. The contest is founded by Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd and is designed as a socio-cultural project.
The topic of the contest has to do with the idea of intellectual, physical and spiritual development of personality, overcoming difficulties, opening up the potential and supporting one another.
The contest is open to students of Russian arts institutes and colleges. The artworks submitted to the contest and following various techniques, such drawing or print, gouache or watercolor on paper, or oil on canvas, must all represent unique interpretations of the topic in the broad range of styles from figurative art to abstraction and have an emotional component. The participants must demonstrate the craft of creating compositions, and proficiency in drawing and painting.

To apply for participation in the contest fill out the electronic form between July 17th and October 8th. The application must include personal information (a photo and a short biography), a concise annotation of the artwork and its electronic version (no less than 1200x1800px, 300dpi).
